Here is a list of small but important projects that we completed and crossed off of our list this week. Didn’t do a whole lot this week, needed a break from working in the Texas heat the last three weeks.

Autopilot Hydraulic Ram - Installed the hydraulic linear drive and pump for the autopilot. The ram is bolted to the underside of the cockpit sole, the pump is mounted on the shelf in the cockpit locker. The ram was connected to a separate bronze tiller arm that was bolted onto the rudder stock. Next week we’ll test the system and calibrate the autopilot.

David’s Family - David’s parents came down for three days to visit, and were very patient with us as we continued to work on installing the autopilot ram.
