There are so many people that we want to thank for their support and help in getting Bruadair ready for her cruise. I’ll try my best to remember everyone here and apologize for those that may have slipped my mind during this writing.
Family & Friends - David and I want to express our greatest thanks to our family and friends for their support. I don’t think that our dream could come to be without their support, and it makes it much easier for us to depart knowing that everyone wishes us well on our voyages. Dan & Pam - We have known Dan and Pam from s/v Parlay for almost three years now as our neighbors and close friends. Dan has taught us so much about boats in general and has never been too busy to answer our questions. Pam has been just as supportive with her laughter and meals when we’ve been too tired working to cook. They both have always been willing to lend a much appreciated helping hand. We will miss them a lot but we have hopes to see them again somewhere out there. And another thanks to them for letting me use their van for transportation after I sold my van. Casey - Casey and his team at Mockinbird Marine did not hesitate to provide us with advice and answer any questions we had, and the work they did was prompt and professional. Casey, thank you so much for your generosity on our charges. Mitch & Debbie - Our new friends from s/v Destination that we wish we had met earlier. Their knowledge of the local restaurants that we had not yet visited has been much appreciated (though it may have contributed to extra weight on the boat). Thank you for helping us out with the snorkeling gear, we’ll be sure to put them to good use! Bob & Fran - Wonderful neighbors at the marina, we enjoyed being in the slip next to s/v Escapades. We thank them for the knowlege they shared with us about the ICW and especially the copy of the Barway’s Pilot Guide they provided for us.
