Bruadair's Crew

Damon

more to come later

David

Co-Captain, head chef, procurement officer. I don’t have the years of experience sailing as Damon , has, but I do love it all the same!

I was first introduced to sailing in my Jr. High days when I was living in Miami, Fla. (All right now! No wise cracks! They had sailboats back then too!) Our neighbors down the street had a 26’ sailboat, I believe it was a Pearson 26, which we sailed in Biscayne Bay and out to Elliot Key many a time. We even occasionally stayed aboard overnight. I loved it! I just never had the notion to one day decide to up and sail around the world! This was Damon’s dream. And now it is mine too!

While in the US Navy,  I ‘sailed’ to many different places aboard the US Constellation aircraft carrier.  From San Diego, California to Perth, Australia and back. Then around the horn of South America to Philadelphia. I’ve seen many places that I said I would love  to go back to, I just didn’t want to ‘swab’ my way there! Well, now we have our own decks to swab should we so choose. And I have all the confidence  in the world that Bruadair will carry us back to those far off places over the horizon! I’ll be retiring from the work force in November of 2004 when we begin our open ended cruise.
