2006

April’s Log - David is still on Bruadair in Guatemala while Damon is still in California tying up some loose ends. Plans are in the works for our next leg of the cruise and a few boat projects are added to the list..

May’s Log - A trip to Guatemala City. More trip planning for our adventures this fall.

June’s Log - Medical emergencies remind us that cruising isn’t always easy sailing, read these emails from our friends Randy and Sheri aboard s/v Procyon.

July’s Log - The river is filling up with boats as hurricane season begins and Damon makes two trips to Flores this month. New photo gallery added.

September’s Log - Trips to Guatemala City and Antigua fill our time, as well as the begining of the preparation of our impending departure.

October’s Log - This month included a final trip to California, finishing up projects and the last of the provisioning. Bruadair and her crew leave the marina in Guatemala and make their way to the island of Roatan, Honduras with overnight stops along the mainland coast of Honduras. Challenges of engine, ssb radio, dingy and ATM problems keep the crew busy.

November’s Log - From Jonesville Bight on Roatan to the small but beautiful group of islands of Cayos Cochinos and on to the La Ceiba Shipyard on the mainland of Honduras. A new Caribe inflatable RIB replaces the current and ailing RIB and a search is on for new batteries.

December’s Log - Continuing to hang out in Jonesville Bight on the island of Roatan. A short stay at Sandy’s Marina is planned while Damon returns to the states for boat parts. David picks up some more canvas work to help fill the time. Fun times with the sailing vessels Revid, Lone Star Love, Valentina and Blow Me Away including happy hours, spear fishing and more.
